History
Developed by Greystone Technology Corp in the 1980s, GT.M was originally created as an implementation of ANSI standard M. The database engine was released as open source in 2000. Greystone Technology was later acquired by Sanchez in the late 1990s. Then Sanchez was acquired by FIS, which continues to maintain and develop the system.
