Express

Oracle Express was a multi-dimensional DBMS designed for building OLAP applications. It was available as a server-based DBMS that ran on large servers (e.g., VAX/VMS, HPUX, Solaris). There also was a "pcExpress" version available for Windows desktops.

History

Oracle Corporation purchased Express from Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) in 1995. Oracle then deprecated Express with release of Oracle 9 in 2003.
