History


Rya was initially developed at the University of Maryland and donated to the Apache Software Foundation in 2013. It entered the Apache Incubator program and graduated to become an Apache Top-Level Project in 2015. The name Rya stands for RDF y(and) Accumulo.

The system's source code repository has not been updated since 2020 and is now considered abandoned.
