SQLBase was one of an early relational DBMS designed for PC platforms, initially released for DOS and later supporting Windows environments.

History

The project started in the 1980s at Gupta Technologies (later renamed to Centura Software in the late 1990s. The company was passed through private investors several times until it was finally acquired by OpenText in 2015. The system was then rebranded as Gupta SQLBase.
