Manticore Search

Manticore Search is a full-text search and analytical database. It's designed to provide great performance on both small and large data volumes with no need to go deep into configuring it to achieve that.

History

Manticore Search is an open-source database that was created in 2017 as a continuation of Sphinx Search engine. They took all the best from Sphinx, significantly improved its functionality, fixed hundreds of bugs, rewrote the code almost completely and kept it open-source (Sphinx latest available version was not open source).
